About our leader, Master Dive Instructor Gary Beiter (Member SDI/TDI, PDIC, YMCA, NASDS, PADI):
Gary Beiter, owner and operator of Aquatic Ventures, has over forty years of experience teaching and training Scuba diving, as well as extensive education and training in underwater archaeology. Gary is a veteran of the US Marine Corps. and became a PADI Certified Open Water Instructor in 1973. He has also been a PDIC Certified Instructor Trainer (the highest PDIC rating) for over twenty years.
Gary opened his first Scuba store in 1976 in Hollywood, FL and has been a fixture on the South Florida dive scene ever since. He is certified in all PDIC ratings and training levels, as well as specialty ratings including Underwater Hunter, Search & Recovery, Underwater Archaeology, Deep Diver and Wreck Diver. Gary certifies students in all courses offered by PDIC, SDI, and TDI.
