Open Water Certification $350 (Groups of 3+ $325 per diver)

The course fee includes all course materials and necessary equipment. Just bring your bathing suit! Each day, class begins with a 2 hour lecture period. After the first lecture, you will apply your knowledge in a shallow, clear and comfortable pool. The 2nd and 3rd day will also begin with lecture, and each day you will have two open water sessions to further demonstrate and practice your new diving skills. Classes usually begin at 1:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays, but please call for an exact schedule. We can accommodate students who wish to train during the week as well. Students must be at least 15 years old.

Open Water Certification w/Boat Dive $400

This course includes all open water instruction as above, but also includes a 2-tank boat dive for your final open water training sessions. Resort Course $150

On vacation and want to dive, but don’t have 3 days for training? No problem. In this 1 day course, we begin with a 1 hour lecture, followed by 2 hours of practicing and demonstrating your skills in a safe pool environment. After the pool, you head to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean to one of the many reefs and dive right from the beach. You’ll love it so much, you’ll probably want to dive again before going home. The drawback to the Resort Course is you must dive with Aquatic Ventures regarding any future dives. Also, the resort course is only good for 1 year.

Advanced Open Water Diver Certification $375

Already Open Water Certified? There’s still plenty to learn! Advanced Open Water Divers perform the skills of the Open Water Diver adroitly. Adroitly means deftly and expertly with confidence, demonstrating ease and familiarity during high-pressure situations. The Advanced Open Water Diver class includes instruction in Underwater Navigation Routines, Stress Management, Advanced Rescue Techniques, Limited Visibility, Night Diving, and Advanced Decompression Techniques. It’s the highest non-commercial certification rating available to recreational divers. The class includes lecture, some pool work, and four open water dives, including a night dive, and both a deep dive and a wreck dive from a boat.

Refresher Course $150

Already certified but it’s been a while since you’ve last been diving? We can help you gain a high comfort level in the water again. This is a one day course with an hour of lecture to review basic safety, diving skills and dive tables. The lecture will be followed by a pool session to refresh your skills and practice, followed by an open water dive off the shore. It’s time to get back into the water!

Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver $100

Breathing enriched air Nitrox gives a larger margin of safety than diving with compressed air. Since there is less nitrogen than "regular" air, the bottom time may be longer with less risk of decompression sickness.   This is a 1 day course and students will be certified to dive with Nitrox after 4 hours of instruction.

Jr. Open Water Diver Certification $400 For Ages 12-14

Who says kids are too young to learn the skills and physiology of open water diving? The Junior Open Water program is for students between the ages of 12 and 14, who may require individual tutoring of the physiology of the human body, gas laws, and proper equipment assembly, and the complete understanding of scuba skills underwater, so that young boy or girl will enjoy their new underwater world, safely, comfortably, properly trained with the skills and theory they will need. It’s a great activity to bond with your kids! Jr. Open Water Certification requires an Open Water certified diver to be present on every dive.
