Aquatic Ventures is a full-service dive center. We carry a wide range of dive gear from masks and snorkels to BC’s and regulators from top-quality manufacturers such as Scuba Max, Sport Divers, Beuchat and Cochran Undersea Technologies. In addition to certification and advanced dive education, we offer equipment rental, tank filling, dive guides and boat charters. The Professional Diving Instructors Corporation (PDIC) is an international SCUBA training and certification agency. Your PDIC certification card (your C card) is accepted worldwide. Founded in the 1960's, PDIC was established out of the need to properly train SCUBA instructors. After ten years, the decision was made to train divers at the open water level.

PDIC is a founding member of the Recreational SCUBA Training Council (RSTC). Being active in this organization allows PDIC to help redefine the future of recreational SCUBA.

PDIC's goal is to train safe, confident divers who will have fun exploring one of our planet's most beautiful realms. With all levels of certification available from Open Water through Instructor, PDIC prides itself on being recognized worldwide as "The Quality Training Agency". PDIC maintains only the highest standards of instruction, integrity, and conduct.

Gary Beiter, owner and operator of Aquatic Ventures, has over forty years of experience teaching and training Scuba diving, as well as extensive education and training in underwater archaeology. Gary is a veteran of the US Marine Corps. and became a PADI Certified Open Water Instructor in 1973. He has also been a PDIC Certified Instructor Trainer (the highest PDIC rating) for over twenty years.

Gary opened his first Scuba store in 1976 in Hollywood, FL and has been a fixture on the South Florida dive scene ever since. He is certified in all PDIC ratings and training levels, as well as specialty ratings including Underwater Hunter, Search & Recovery, Underwater Archaeology, Deep Diver and Wreck Diver. Gary certifies students in all courses offered by PDIC.
